Conversations

I love listening to the boys when they have conversations with each other. You can only imagine the funny things a two and four year old boys say to each other. Unfortunately I don't always write them down :( But just a few minutes ago they did say something kind of cute....

Tyler~ (Speaking to Nathan) "I love you baby!"

Nathan ~ "STOP saying me baby....I....I....I soccer player!"

Tyler ~ (while laughing) "You really love sports...."

Nathan~ (pause..thinking... then holds up a pair of his shorts he just changed out of) "I love my soccer shorts"

LOL! The conversation continued, but they were in the other room and I couldn't hear the rest. Does anyone question the fact that my two year old is a soccer fanatic? I don't think I go even 5 hours without hearing the word soccer come out of his mouth :).

I can't remember when this conversation took place, but it was a few weeks ago in the van. We were driving by a place and Josh says "there's the place that Uncle Brad's girlfriend works." of course the boys were looking around and asking questions, but the funniest was when Tyler said "I just LOVE girlfriends......I miss Katie....where is Katie Mom?" If any of you are faithful blog readers, you will remember Katie as his "girlfriend from preschool last year. She is older than Tyler and went on to kindergarten so he never sees her. Josh and I looked at each other all sad, feeling bad for him. We quickly realized that ever since Katie he has never called any girl his girlfriend. So, we asked him "do you have a new girlfriend?" Tyler said "No, just Katie". It was so cute, but so sad too....I need to call Katie's Mom and let them play one day.
